oUR History Clean Environments, which is family owned and operated, started in San Diego in 1982, primarily as a house-cleaning operation. Commercial customers were added shortly thereafter. Maid services were discontinued in 1988, however we still offer a wide range of services to our residential customers. We are now a full service janitorial company, including carpet cleaning, window cleaning, floor care, vacancy cleaning and construction clean-up. We are fully licensed, bonded and insured. We're proud members of the International Janitorial Cleaning Services Association (IJCSA), the Independent Maintenance Contractors Association (IMCA), the San Diego County Apartment Association (SDCAA), and our carpet cleaning technicians are all certified by the Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC).
In our own offices and homes, we utilize "Green" cleaning methods, and offer the same to our customers. "Green" cleaning emphasizes the use of environmentally friendly cleaning chemicals, recycled paper products, and tools to minimize indoor air pollution such as micro-fiber towels for dusting and hepa-filters on our vacuums. While we also offer standard cleaning services, we hope to encourage a movement in all industries towards sustainable building practices.
